Short Day Trip from Tokyo to Yamanashi on Ninja 250SL Model Year 2016

Wada Pass on Jinba-kaido Avenue

I often take my Kawasaki Ninja 250SL model year 2016 on day trips along winding roads. This post describes one of my shorter day trips from Tokyo to Kosuge in Yamanashi Prefecture.

After exiting the Ken-o Expressway, I took the photograph above near Wada Pass on Jinba-kaido Avenue. This road is popular with hikers, probably because it marks the eastern edge of the Kanto Mountains.

Yoshidaya on Yamanashi Prefectural Route 35

Although Yamanashi Prefectural Route 35 is not particularly known for its scenery or road surface, it offers good visibility. In addition, light weekend daytime traffic lets you ride at your own pace.

Suzukake Pass on Yamanashi Prefectural Route 509

As shown in the photograph above, Suzukake Pass (also known as Suzugane Pass) on Yamanashi Prefectural Route 509 is a lightly traveled paved forest road.

Western Tokyo and eastern Yamanashi are close to central Tokyo, making them ideal for day trips on small-displacement motorcycles that combine multiple winding roads.
